For the longest time, the feminist movement has wondered how we can more inclusive of other marginalised communities. However, time has come for us to take a step back and ask ‘Who owns these spaces? Who gets to speak in them? Who profits from them?’ For #DalitHistoryMonth, throughout the month of April, we’re highlighting the voices of Dalit Women. Whether it’s at the Safari Karamchari Andolan where we conducted a Facebook live, or Dalit women on twitter who spoke up about the need for Savarna feminists to reflect on the amount of space that they’ve been consuming in our tweet-a-thon.
